We offer canoes, kayaks and we now have a row boat available for rental!! We have the best deal within 60 miles on our watercraft!! Paddles/oars and life jackets are included in your rental (an extra $100.00 is added to your security deposit). You are welcome to bring your own!! We offer these for those who do not have them or choose not to transport them when/if they are coming from long distances.

(We only have 5 canoes available, 3 kayaks and 1 row boat) Keep in mind that by the time your reservation balance is paid, your desired watercraft may not still be available!)

Canoes and Kayaks:

• Each Per Day: $25.00 ($30.00 if you wait until AFTER the balance of your reservation is paid)
• Each Per Week: $125.00 ($140.00 if you wait until AFTER the balance of your reservation is paid)

Row Boat:

• Per Day: $35.00 (40.00 if made AFTER the balance of your reservation is paid)
• Per Week: $175.00 ($195.00 if made AFTER the balance of your reservation is paid)

Note: There is time involved with getting equipment to each location, as well as verifying availability (mainly on weeklys) and processing the paperwork. It is much easier for us to set the equipment up ahead of time.

If you rent one of our watercraft for a typical 2-night weekend, your recieve a discount for the 2nd night (For example: for 1 canoe for 2 nights, the rate is $40.00/not $50.00). For 3 nights or more, you get the last day FREE!! For a full week, you get 2 days FREE!! For a 2-week rental, you get 5 days FREE!! If you rent more than one watercraft, you get an additional discount!!

Additional Rate Information

We can accomodate large groups and, since there are so few locations that can do so, we restrict our two large homes/cottages for larger groups.

All cottages have a two-night minimum (will rent one night if not booked and during off season, call for availability), three-nights for Minor Holidays and four-nights for Major Holidays. On-Season is from May 15th-September 14th (this year, On-Season begins May 14th). Off-Season is from September 15th-May 14th. Our early and Late On-Season Dates are from May 14th-31st and September 1st-14th and all 2-night reservations will include a 5% discount and 3-night reservations will include a 10% discount (excluding weekends).

Each cottage has a certain number of beds to accomodate clients. If you are interested in putting additional persons in the cottage you are in, the following are the extra charges:

Additional Persons (each):

Off-season: $30.00 per weekend - $15.00 Daily - $75.00 per week (discounts for multiple persons)

On-season: $60.00 per weekend - $30.00 Daily - $150.00 per week (discounts for multiple persons)

Transportation:

For groups that would like to be transported (i.e. dinner, taverns, casino, etc.), we now offer this service.

For a 7-passenger van (can transport 6 persons), for 3-4 hours (includes transportation to dinner and a tavern, bar or casino and return home), the rate is $175.00 + tax.

For a 15-passenger van (can transport 14 persons), for 3-4 hours (includes transportation to dinner and a tavern, bar or casino and return home), the rate is $225.00 + tax. If there are more than 14 persons, we can make two trips and the added charge is $35.00 per load. If there are other activities you would like to attend, we are flexible on the schedule to fit the schedules of the activities.

PLEASE RESERVE WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATION AS WE HAVE TO RENT THE VEHICLES TO OFFER YOUR TRANSPORTATION AND TO ENSURE WE HAVE A DRIVER AVAILABLE AS WELL AS THE VEHICLE YOU WILL NEED!!

Deposits & Reservations

So that we may meet your needs, in your email please let us know which cottage you are interested in, how many guests, (children under 5yrs-old are free), the date you will be staying, and what you will be doing while in our area. We are looking foward to hearing from you!

You may reserve a cottage up to one year in advance at our current rates with a 50% deposit and the balance due 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If the balance is not received, the cottage will be rented and the cancellation policy will apply. Security deposits are run on your credit card as an authorization only the week (or weekend) that you come for your visit. If we intend on actually charging part or all of your deposit, we will attempt to contact you prior to doing so. Items typically charged for are damages and/or excessive cleaning. If we have to replace the key, it is a $25.00 charge and $50.00 to change the lock (assuming we do not get the key returned).

Cancellation Policy

If cancellations are received more than 30 days prior to your arrival at the cottages, you may receive a refund minus a $75.00 booking fee or a return certificate for the full amount. No refunds or return certificates will be given for cancellations received less than 30 days before scheduled arrival date.

Pet Policy

We do allow pets in Pheasant Cottage, Bear's Den and Eagle's Nest in the common areas (living room and kitchen only) and not on the furniture. In Bear's Den, pets may also be in the bedrooms (there is no carpet), just not on the beds. Dogs can now be in Tall Pines Lodge ONLY IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM AREA and you must have some type of wall gate to ensure they stay in that area. Dogs must be on a leash anytime they are outside the cottage EXCEPT in the IMMEDIATE AREA of the owner(s) while AT their cottage (an exception would be playing fetch and throwing the fetch-toy into the water- your dog does not need to be leashed but still must be under control of the owner(s)). DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES ON THE TRAILS!!

For one dog, for up to two nights, the fee is $40.00. For each additional dog, for up to two nights, the fee is $20.00. After two nights, each dog is $10.00 each per night or $75.00 for a week for the first dog and $50.00 for a week for each additional dog. For clients staying two weeks or more, a second and third dog are free (deposits still apply). There is also a $100.00 deposit (if more than one dog, deposit is $50.00 for each additional dog) that is added to your regular deposit that is completely refundable as long as the pet policy is followed. If there is dog hair found in any unauthorized areas, the added deposit is automatically forfeited as well as part of the regular deposit so PLEASE FOLLOW THE POLICY!! Any violation of the pet policy will automatically forfeit AT LEAST the pet deposit!

Our intention is to have EVERYBODY ENJOY THEIR STAY, including persons with allergies.

We no longer offer dog kennels.
