Our newest cottage is over 1200 square feet and even more secluded than the other two cottages. This is our first cottage that has been designed by us, ultimately for our family, and the location, very carefully chosen. Eagle's Nest has two bedrooms/two bathrooms and a large loft. It has 2 doubles in the main bedroom with a sitting area by the window, a double and a single in the 2nd room, 4 doubles in the loft with a 2nd full bathroom. Then there is a sofa sleeper in the living room and a roll-away bed in the main closet.

Eagle's Nest was named because of the bald eagles we have seen on our property, usually right on Serenity Lake, and the spectacular view we have, whether we are looking out of one of the bedrooms (two large windows in each room), the loft (has eight windows, four large ones) or the living room (very large window and sliding glass door), we can imagine the view the eagles have as they soar through the property or simply being perched on one of the huge oak or pine trees overlooking the glorious view of Serenity Lake.

Enjoying the view of Serenity Lake outside the front of the cottage can be even more enjoyable from the front deck or in the 4-person hot tub that sets on the deck.

After pampering yourselves in the hot tub, you can return inside and enjoy a nice cozy fire to take the evening chill off. There is nothing like turning off all the lights and listening to the wood crackle and burn as the flames dance gently on the walls. Savoring the ambience of the sounds and the smell of a nice fire will carry many of its' own memories. The interior has custom pine trim around the windows, the stairwell and the ceiling is completely covered in pine as well.

In the master bedroom, there is also a customized sitting area at one of the windows that will allow for meditation, prayer or some relaxing reading. If these features do not make you forget the rest of the world even for a short period of time, NOTHING WILL!

And don't forget, these are just the features of the cottage... you still have the beautiful Serenity Lake and 500 acres of mother nature full of trails to enjoy.
